The Seal 6 is BYD's Super Hybrid DM-i mid-size sedan, pairing a 1.5-litre petrol engine with a front electric motor. One grade at launch, the Essential, from $34,990 plus on-road costs, making it one of the cheapest plug-in hybrid sedans in the country.
Single grade on offer in Australia. Warranty cover sits at 6 years, 150,000 km (vehicle).

Cabin tech is up to current BYD standard, with the dual display layout and wireless smartphone mirroring.
