What is it?
The second-generation NX is Lexus's volume seller in Australia and one of the broadest luxury SUV ranges going. Four powertrains: NX 250 petrol, NX 350 turbo, NX 350h hybrid, and the NX 450h+ plug-in hybrid with 87 km of EV range.
The lineup runs from NX 250 Luxury FWD at $61,800 plus on-roads, through to NX 450h+ Sports Luxury at $88,500 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.

- You want a longer warranty than 5 years (Genesis GV70), more rear seat room (BMW X3 or GLC), or an AWD entry grade (the NX 250 is FWD only).
- 450h+ PHEV at $88,500 plus on-roads pushes into electric-only Polestar 4 and EX30 territory. The rear seat room also trails the larger X3 and GLC.
- Top trim climbs to $88,500 plus on-roads.
