What is it?
The Polestar 2 is the brand's mid-size electric fastback. The MY24 facelift switched from FWD to RWD, lifted the battery to 82 kWh, sped up DC charging and removed the closed grille. Today's car offers 659 km WLTP on the Single Motor and Google Built-in software.
The lineup runs from Long Range Single Motor at $67,400 plus on-roads, through to Long Range Dual Motor at $73,400 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km. Battery: 8 years, 160,000 km.
Interior and Technology
659 km WLTP on the Single Motor is the longest in the segment, paired with Google Built-in OS (native Maps, Assistant and Play Store) and 205 kW DC peak for a 28-minute 10 to 80% charge.
405 L boot is small for a fastback, rear hatch opening is shallow, and rear headroom is tight under the sloped roofline. 5-year warranty trails Korean and Chinese rivals.
