What is it?
The smart #1 is the relaunched smart brand's first new model in Australia in over a decade. Built on Geely's SEA platform (shared with the Volvo EX30) and styled by Mercedes-Benz design, it offers a 200 kW Pro+ RWD entry, a Premium with Beats audio, and a Brabus dual-motor 315 kW AWD flagship. Australian distribution is handled by LMA Automotive.
The lineup runs from Pro+ at $54,900 plus on-roads, through to Brabus at $70,900 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.
Interior and Technology
22 kW three-phase AC charging standard, sliding rear bench (135mm fore-aft) that trades legroom for boot space on demand, and a Brabus variant making 315 kW AWD for a 3.9-second 0 to 100. 5-star ANCAP against the 2023 protocol.
66 kWh pack delivers 420 to 440 km WLTP, smaller than the Volvo EX30 Extended Range. 323 L boot in the rearmost slide position is tight for family duty.
