The Avenger is Jeep's first all-electric compact SUV in Australia, and the Summit is the top-of-the-range trim. It is the most playful Jeep on sale and the most overtly small-European of the lineup: built on the same platform as the Peugeot e-2008, with a 54 kWh battery and front-wheel drive only.

What you are buying

A 115 kW front-mounted motor, 260 Nm of torque, a 54 kWh battery, and roughly 400 km of WLTP range. The Summit adds the larger touchscreen, the Sun Yellow exterior paint option, leather-look seats, and the playful interior lighting that Jeep is leaning into for its EV identity.

Cartell Assessment

The Avenger is not for the Wrangler buyer. It is the Jeep for someone who wants the badge but lives in the inner city. As a small electric SUV it is competent rather than class-leading, and the lack of an AWD option is a real omission for a brand that built itself on capability.

AU Outlook

Avenger Summit pricing sits in the mid-$60k drive-away range. Cross-shop is the Volvo EX30, the Smart #1, and the MG4. Verify the latest figures with the Jeep Australia configurator.
