Hyundai Australia has put a price on its first off-road eight seater. The Palisade XRT Pro lands in dealers this September at $79,900 before on-road costs, about $3,500 above the entry Elite and almost $10,000 below the top Calligraphy.
A lift, all-terrains and a local tune
The XRT Pro takes the second generation Hyundai Palisade and gives it genuine gravel credentials: a 25mm suspension lift that raises ground clearance from 187mm to 212mm, 255/60 R18 Continental all-terrain tyres, and an electronic limited-slip rear differential. Power comes from a 2.5L turbo petrol four with 207kW and 422Nm through an eight-speed auto and all-wheel drive. Braked towing is rated at 2,200kg with the genuine towing kit.
The chassis was tuned here, Hyundai Australia's first local suspension program since the i30 Sedan in 2024.
Cartell Assessment
This is a clean shot at the Toyota Prado and Ford Everest, and it undercuts both on price. The local tune matters: Hyundai used to do its best work on Australian roads.

September arrival, one spec, sharp price. If the all-terrain Palisade sells, expect XRT Pro badges to spread across the Hyundai range.
