Jaguar Land Rover Australia has recalled 23,113 examples of the Defender, Discovery and Range Rover built between 2019 and 2026 over a driver's airbag fault. The action is split across two related notices on the government recalls site.
Why it matters
A connector in the driver's airbag clock spring can corrode over time, raising circuit resistance. If that happens the airbag may not deploy in a crash, so this is a safety fault rather than a minor one.
