Tesla is knocking about $2,950 off its in-stock Tesla Model Y range right now, a cut of roughly five per cent that applies across all four variants, from the Premium rear-drive at $58,900 up to the AWD Performance at $84,900. On top of that, buyers trading in a vehicle can claim a $2,000 bonus that also covers the Model 3 and runs to the end of 2026. The offer applies to cars already in the country in the ACT, New South Wales, Queensland, Victoria and Tasmania.
An inventory deal, not a reprice
This is a discount on stock Tesla already holds, not a permanent list price cut, so the saving depends on what is sitting in the yard near you. It arrives with BYD running a $4,000 cashback offer and other Chinese brands pushing cheap finance, and with Tesla having delivered 41,705 EVs in Australia so far this year.
Cartell Assessment
When even Tesla is trimming stock prices again, it tells you who is setting the pace, and right now it is not Tesla. For a buyer ready to move on a car in stock, though, the maths is simple enough to like.
AU Outlook
Expect the discounting to continue while rivals keep the pressure on. Confirm the offer is still live and check the exact drive-away figure on the variant you want before you commit.
