What is it?
The 2024 Vantage is more than a facelift, with a re-engineered bonded-aluminium platform, Bilstein DTX dampers, an electronic rear LSD and a wider track. AMG 4.0L twin-turbo V8 retuned to 489 kW and 800 Nm through an 8-speed ZF rear transaxle. DB12-derived cabin runs Aston's first in-house infotainment with retained physical switchgear. Coupe at launch, Volante confirmed.
The lineup runs from Vantage Coupe at $410,000 plus on-roads, through to Q by Aston Martin at TBC plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 3 years, unlimited km.
Interior and Technology
489 kW from the AMG V8 makes the 2024 Vantage the fastest series Vantage Aston has sold. New eLSD and Bilstein DTX dampers transform the chassis versus the pre-2024 car. DB12 cabin and in-house infotainment fix the old Vantage's biggest weakness. 346 L boot is unusually practical for a 2-seater.
3-year warranty short for the asking price. 800 Nm RWD on wet Australian roads demands respect. Volante folding-roof variant not yet on the Australian price list. No hybrid or EV powertrain.
