What is it?

The Q4 e-tron is Audi's small electric SUV built on the VW Group MEB platform shared with the VW ID.4 and Skoda Enyaq. The 2024 facelift bumped power, fitted the larger 77 kWh net battery as standard, lifted DC charging to 175 kW, and redesigned the cabin. Two drivetrains: 45 e-tron RWD at 210 kW and 55 e-tron quattro AWD at 250 kW. SUV or Sportback bodies.

The lineup runs from 45 e-tron SUV at $84,900 plus on-roads, through to 55 e-tron quattro Sportback at $108,900 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.

Interior and Technology

Post-facelift 175 kW DC peak with 562 km WLTP on the 45 e-tron RWD. SUV or Sportback bodies on the same drivetrains, plus the augmented-reality head-up display option.

MEB 400V platform is dated against 800V Korean and Porsche rivals. The 55 quattro Sportback at $108,900 plus on-roads pushes near the next-step Q6 e-tron.

Reasons to wait

  • MEB 400V platform is dated against 800V Korean and Porsche rivals. The 55 quattro Sportback at $108,900 plus on-roads pushes near the next-step Q6 e-tron.
  • You want 800V charging architecture (Hyundai Ioniq 5 or Porsche Macan), a longer warranty (Polestar 8-year battery), or a lower entry price (Polestar 2 from $67,400).
