The iX4 is the coupe roofed version of BMW's Neue Klasse iX3.
We haven't driven the iX4 yet. On paper, deliveries are not due until the first quarter of 2027, and BMW has not confirmed an Australian towing figure or which bidirectional charging functions will be enabled locally.
Buyers who want the iX3's long range and charging speed in a lower, sportier body and do not need maximum cargo space.

BMW says Australian deliveries are scheduled for the first quarter of 2027, with an M60 xDrive to follow later in 2027.
BMW claims up to 638km WLTP for the 40 xDrive and up to 828km for the 50 xDrive.
The iX4 is the coupe roofed version of BMW's Neue Klasse iX3. Both launch grades are dual motor all wheel drive, and the 50 xDrive claims 828km WLTP from a 108.7kWh battery. It is open for orders now with deliveries from the first quarter of 2027.
