CarTell take

We haven't driven the Stonic yet. On paper, sport and GT-Line go back to wired Apple CarPlay and Android Auto because of the built in navigation, and the boot is 352L. Drive measured 6.6L/100km on test against the 5.0L claim.

Why consider it

  • Kia's 7 year warranty and a 48V mild hybrid boost (88kW, 5.0L/100km claimed) give it more power and lower claimed fuel use than a Venue or CX-3.

What to know

  • No current ANCAP rating, since the old five star result expired at the end of 2024.
  • The facelift also added $2020 to $3260 to list prices.
