What is it?

The Temerario is the direct successor to the Huracan and Lamborghini's second electrified model after the Revuelto. The new in-house 4.0L twin-turbo flat-plane V8 redlines at 10,000 rpm (588 kW alone), paired with three axial-flux electric motors (two on the front axle, one in the 8-speed dual-clutch transaxle) for 685 kW combined and AWD torque vectoring. Aluminium spaceframe, taller cabin than Huracan, 34 L frunk.

The lineup runs from Temerario Coupe at $579,000 drive-away, through to Ad Personam at null drive-away. Warranty cover sits at 3 years, unlimited km.

Interior and Technology

Clean-sheet in-house 4.0L twin-turbo flat-plane V8 redlining at 10,000 rpm, no other production turbo engine reaches that. Three axial-flux electric motors deliver AWD torque vectoring without a mechanical centre diff, 2.7 second 0 to 100 and 343 km/h top speed.

Local pricing is ex-works only, expect drive-away well past $650,000 with LCT and options. 3.8 kWh battery is small so EV-only range is minimal versus PHEV rivals. First-year allocation is constrained.

Should you buy the Temerario?

Reasons to buy

  • Clean-sheet in-house 4.0L twin-turbo flat-plane V8 redlining at 10,000 rpm, no other production turbo engine reaches that. Three axial-flux electric motors deliver AWD torque vectoring without a mechanical centre diff, 2.7 second 0 to 100 and 343 km/h top speed.
  • Warranty: 3 years, unlimited km. Paid extensions to 7 years.
  • 34 L (frunk) + luggage shelf boot, segment-competitive cargo space.

Reasons to wait

  • Local pricing is ex-works only, expect drive-away well past $650,000 with LCT and options. 3.8 kWh battery is small so EV-only range is minimal versus PHEV rivals. First-year allocation is constrained.
  • You want a naturally aspirated V12 (Revuelto, Ferrari 12Cilindri), a longer factory warranty, or a confirmed Australian drive-away price before signing a deposit.
  • Confirm the build slot in writing before transferring deposit. Ad Personam options lift the on-road cost quickly. WLTP EV range and final Australian drive-away pricing are still to be confirmed by Lamborghini Australia.
  • Top trim climbs to $579,000 drive-away.

Strongest suit on paper

The trade-off
Local pricing is ex-works only, expect drive-away well past $650,000 with LCT and options. 3.8 kWh battery is small so EV-only range is minimal versus PHEV rivals. First-year allocation is constrained.
Check before you buy

Best suited to
Track-day collectors after a 10,000 rpm turbocharged V8 no rival can match, Huracan upgraders wanting the direct successor with a taller cabin, and PHEV converts who still want AWD torque vectoring and the Lamborghini soundtrack.
