What is it?

The Ghost Series II is the mid-life refresh of the owner-driver Rolls-Royce, the more compact and more rearward-biased counterpart to the long-wheelbase Phantom. New lighting signature including an illuminated Pantheon grille, a redrawn front bumper, a new rear graphic, and SPIRIT infotainment updates. Powertrain remains the 6.75L twin-turbo V12 at 420 kW and 850 Nm, 8-speed satellite-aided automatic, AWD with four-wheel steering. Three grades for Australia: Ghost, Ghost Extended (170 mm more rear legroom) and Black Badge Ghost (441 kW).

The lineup runs from Ghost at $655,000 plus on-roads, through to Black Badge Ghost at $745,000 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 4 years, unlimited km.

Interior and Technology

6.75L twin-turbo V12 at 420 kW is the smoothest powertrain on sale anywhere. Planar suspension uses a forward-facing camera to pre-adjust dampers for a real magic-carpet ride. Series II illuminated fascia, a starfield of 90,000 laser-etched dots, and the Starlight Headliner deliver unmatched cabin theatre. Bespoke commissioning lets you specify almost anything inside the cabin. Black Badge gives the Ghost an owner-driver edge without losing rear-seat comfort.

From $655,000 plus on-roads, Black Badge and Extended push past $750k easily. Luxury Car Tax punishes the on-road price brutally above the threshold. 4-year warranty is generous but behind some volume-luxury German brands. No hybrid option, V12 only. ANCAP has not rated the Ghost.
