What is it?

The Cybertruck is Tesla's stainless-steel electric pickup, launched in North America in late 2023 after a four-year delay from the original 2019 concept. Not officially sold in Australia, with the only legal route being SEVS personal import and right-hand-drive conversion.

The lineup runs from Long Range RWD (US spec) at null plus on-roads, through to Cyberbeast (US spec) at null plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 4 years, 80,000 km (vehicle).

Interior and Technology

Stainless-steel exoskeleton needs no paint and resists rust, 11.4 kW V2L outlet is the highest of any production EV, and Tesla Supercharger access remains available to grey-import owners in Australia.

Not officially sold in Australia. No factory right-hand-drive production, no ANCAP rating, no full ADR compliance, and Tesla's Australian service network is not authorised to warranty grey imports.

  • Import and conversion costs frequently exceed the price of the vehicle itself. Confirm SEVS eligibility, ADR compliance pathway and ongoing service support before committing.

563 km EPA on the Long Range RWD, 547 km EPA on the All-Wheel Drive, and 487 km EPA on the Cyberbeast tri-motor flagship. All US-spec figures.
