Toyota has put a $4,000 deposit bonus on the mild-hybrid diesel Toyota HiLux SR5 4x4 when you finance through Toyota Finance, and for a ute this popular that is rare. It is a finance incentive, not a cut to the list price, and it covers new and ex-demo SR5 4x4 stock. The all-electric HiLux and lease products are excluded.

What the deal involves

The SR5 runs a 2.8-litre turbo-diesel four-cylinder making 150 kW and 500 Nm, now with 48-volt mild-hybrid assistance, the same engine as the Prado. SR5 pricing starts at $64,490 before on-road costs for the Double Cab Chassis and tops out at $68,490 for the Dual-Cab with Premium Interior. Orders need to be placed between 1 September and 31 December 2026, with a minimum of $10,000 financed.

Cartell Assessment

Toyota barely touches HiLux pricing, so a $4,000 bonus says how hard the Ford Ranger, the Kia Tasman and the plug-in utes are pushing. With the bonus applied, a financed SR5 slips under a Ranger XLT V6 (from $66,590), a Kia Tasman SX+ (from $62,390) and a Mitsubishi Triton GSR (from $62,590).

AU Outlook

The HiLux was the second best-selling new vehicle in the first half of 2026, with 27,328 sales behind the Ranger on 30,356. No drive-away figure or end date for the offer has been published, so confirm the live terms with Toyota before you sign.
