What is it?
The current A90 GR Supra is the fifth-generation Supra, built in partnership with BMW. BMW B58 3.0-litre turbo inline-six producing 285 kW and 500 Nm, rear-wheel drive with active rear diff, eight-speed ZF auto or six-speed manual added in 2023.
The lineup runs from GT (auto) at $87,380 plus on-roads, through to GTS (manual) at $97,205 plus on-roads. Warranty cover sits at 5 years, unlimited km.
Interior and Technology
BMW B58 inline-six is one of the best turbo engines in the world. Manual gearbox now offered with rev-match assist. RWD with active rear diff, genuinely playful chassis. 4.3 second 0 to 100 with the auto puts it on supercar pace.
Only Apple CarPlay standard, no Android Auto on Australian cars. Two-seat cabin only. Interior is dated against newer rivals. Manual costs $1,000 more and is 0.7 seconds slower to 100.
