The Lamborghini Aventador S Roadster was revealed at the 2017 Frankfurt IAA motorshow, and Simone was there. This is not a review in the conventional sense. There are no Australian roads, no school-run comparisons, and no verdict on whether the boot fits a Coles order. It is a first look at a convertible supercar at the moment the covers came off.

The Aventador S Roadster takes the coupe's revised aerodynamics, four-wheel steering, and suspension updates and removes the fixed roof. Lamborghini claims the chassis stiffness is comparable to the coupe despite the open body, which is the kind of claim that takes a track and a data logger to properly examine. What Simone can do in Frankfurt is put the car in context, look at the materials, and give viewers a sense of scale and presence that a press release cannot capture.

This is for the viewer who wants to see a significant supercar reveal through someone who reports on cars rather than someone who only covers supercars. If you need a road test, this video is not that. If you want the reveal, this is it. The full review is on the CarTell.tv YouTube channel above.
