The all-new LDV T60 has arrived in Australia with more power, a fresh look and a sharper price, landing from $39,990 drive-away for private buyers and $37,990 on an ABN. The entry Pro grade is now more than $5,000 cheaper than the model it replaces.

What the money buys Everything from the windscreen forward is new, wrapped around a bigger 2.5 litre single-turbo diesel making 163 kW at 3800 rpm and 520 Nm from 1500 to 2500 rpm, paired with a new eight-speed automatic and dual-range four-wheel drive. Inside there is a 12.8 inch central touchscreen and an 8.0 inch digital instrument cluster. The Luxe grade runs to $42,990 drive-away on an ABN. It goes on sale from October 2026.

Cartell Assessment This is how you win the value end of the ute market. More torque, more gears and a cabin that no longer feels a decade behind, for thousands less than before, make the big-name utes look expensive.

AU Outlook The T60 will not dent HiLux or Ranger loyalty overnight, but for tradies and tow-everything families counting dollars, it is now very hard to ignore.
