Honda Australia has recalled 554 vehicles across three models over a seat frame that does not meet the national design rules. The affected cars are the 2023 to 2025 ZR-V, the 2024 to 2026 Civic and the 2025 Accord.
What the fault is
On the driver and front passenger seats, the left side edge of the seatback frame does not meet the minimum radius required by Australian Design Rule 3/04. In a crash, contact with that edge could increase the risk of injury to the people in the front seats. The remedy is a free inspection and repair at a Honda dealer, and you will need to book an appointment.
